We are currently transitioning information into this new website. In the interim some of the District site remain operational and can be found at links under the Menu Tab "District" along the top of this page. We are looking for volunteers to help out with construction of the new bouldering walls at both camps.

Five New Programs at Summer Camp

Your Scout will have too much fun at Camp this year. The Camp Sparkle Committee has been working overtime to add new events at both our camps this summer. For example, new to Camp Lowden will be the Horsemanship merit badge

Grab Your Bike and Ride the Tour De Blackhack June 8-10

This year we’re bringing back the Tour de Blackhawk. This event is fun for all ages with activities for everyone. It’s a bike even based out of Monticello WI. We have several different courses laid out in varying lengths. These provide just the right challenge for everyone from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts and Venturing.

Regatta Lakeside Fun For Scouts, Ventures and Girl Scouts

All Posts, Crews, Ships, Troops, Mariner and Girl Scout units. A scouting day in the sun with plenty of fun, hosted by the Alumni Association of Sea Scout Ship #508 Legionnaire, in cooperation with the Wanchanagi District and the Blackhawk Area Council is just what you’re looking for!
